This partnership, unveiled on XPLA’s Medium channel, underscores Ubisoft’s visionary approach to blockchain through its Strategic Innovation Lab, signifying a significant step in merging the realms of gaming and blockchain technology.

The collaboration enables Ubisoft to apply its vast gaming development know-how to bolster the security and efficiency of the XPLA network’s transactions and data validation.

Leveraging the Tendermint blockchain engine and its Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus mechanism, the network hosts acclaimed crypto games such as Summoners War and The Walking Dead. Ubisoft’s involvement is anticipated to enhance the network’s performance, security, and transparency, benefiting from the synergy with other distinguished validators and developers like Animoca Brands, Google Cloud, and Com2uS.

In October 2023, Ubisoft expanded its blockchain initiatives by becoming a validator on the Cronos network, enhancing the network’s decentralization and further demonstrating its dedication to NFT gaming.
