In the rapidly evolving world of blockchain technology, Solana and Aptos have set records for the highest number of transactions in a single week. According to recent stats shared on X, both Solana and Aptos outpaced other top blockchains like Tron, Near Protocol, Sei, Base, and BNB Chain.
This week, Solana leads with an impressive 273 million transactions, while Aptos follows with 197 million transactions. Solana’s market cap stands at $83.8 billion, and Aptos’s at $6.93 billion.
Solana and Aptos have topped the transaction charts for the past week, with Tron, Near, Sei, Base, BNB Chain, SUI, Polygon, and Injective also making notable appearances among the top blockchains.
Artemis, a platform that tracks fundamental metrics for crypto assets, compiled this list based on transaction numbers, average daily active addresses, and fully diluted market cap. Alongside Solana and Aptos, Tron and Near Protocol recorded 48.4 million and 40.03 million transactions, respectively.
Solana’s leading position is driven by its high throughput and low transaction costs, which make it a preferred choice among crypto users. It boasts 1.61 million active addresses and a fully diluted market cap of $83.8 billion. Aptos, though newer, stands out with 197 million transactions, 96,000 active users, and a market cap of $6.93 billion.
