Hashkey Capital’s subsidiary in Singapore has successfully obtained a central bank license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. This Capital Markets Services (CMS) license allows Hashkey Capital Singapore to provide fund-management services in the country. CEO Deng Chao is excited about contributing to the local blockchain ecosystem, underlining the firm’s dedication to creating a harmonious blend of traditional and digital finance.
This milestone aligns Hashkey Capital with other key figures in the cryptocurrency industry, like DigiFT and SBI Digital Markets, who have also recently acquired CMS licenses. Hashkey Capital is set on becoming a key player in merging traditional and digital financial systems, a goal underscored in its recent announcement.
Importantly, the company was granted an in-principle license in November 2022, further establishing its influence in the ever-evolving crypto market. HashKey Capital is looking to expand its reach beyond Singapore, as demonstrated by its successful $500 million fundraising event in January.
