Lamborghini, in collaboration with Animoca Brands, has unveiled Fast ForWorld, a Web3 platform featuring interoperable digital supercars tailored for blockchain-based gaming. This partnership marks Lamborghini’s first foray into the blockchain space, bringing the luxury automaker into the growing realm of digital collectibles and Web3 innovation.

Announced on October 2, the Fast ForWorld platform aims to offer users a dynamic experience where they can “experiment, play, interact, and collect digital assets,” according to a blog post by Animoca. Set to debut on November 7, the platform will enable the purchase, sale, and use of digital car collectibles across various gaming environments within Animoca’s Motorverse ecosystem.

“These super sports cars will be introduced as interoperable digital assets, accessible across multiple gaming platforms from launch, including Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, the Motorverse Hub, and Fast ForWorld’s proprietary experience,” Animoca Brands stated. Developed by Animoca’s subsidiary Gravitaslabs, the platform will also feature a 3D wallet, allowing users to manage and engage with their digital assets seamlessly.

Lamborghini Expands Its Presence in Web3

Lamborghini’s latest blockchain initiative follows a series of ventures into the Web3 space. In 2022, the company collaborated with NFT PRO and INVNT to launch the “Road Trip NFT” project, a series of limited-time monthly NFT collections inspired by iconic locations. Lamborghini further made headlines when RM Sotheby’s auctioned the final Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé, paired with a one-of-one NFT, blending the physical and digital worlds.

As Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s marketing director, previously noted, NFTs represent a “new exclusive, unconventional proposal” and serve as a fresh medium for engaging with younger, tech-savvy generations.
