Binance Labs Backs GameFi Innovator Pluto Studio

Binance Labs has announced a strategic investment in Pluto Studio, the GameFi publishing platform renowned for its Telegram-based gaming bot, Catizen. This investment is poised to accelerate Pluto Studio’s growth and expand its innovative gaming ecosystem.

Investment to Propel Catizen’s Development and Expansion

In a statement released on Tuesday, Binance Labs confirmed its leadership role in the investment round for Pluto Studio. The infusion of capital will be directed towards various growth initiatives aimed at enhancing the platform’s capabilities and broadening its reach.

Pluto Studio to Leverage Funding for Catizen’s Advancement

The newly acquired funds will specifically bolster the development of Catizen’s mini-app and game engine. Additionally, the investment will facilitate the onboarding of more developers, further strengthening the platform’s technological infrastructure.

“We are incredibly thrilled to receive funding from an industry leader like Binance Labs. This investment validates our vision and reinforces our confidence in our ability to build the infrastructure needed to drive the next wave of Web3 entertainment,” stated Ricky Wong, co-founder of Pluto Studio.

Wong emphasized that the backing from Binance Labs would elevate Catizen to unprecedented heights, enhancing its impact within the Web3 gaming sphere.

Catizen’s Significant Impact on Telegram

Since its launch in March, Catizen has made significant strides within the Telegram and TON blockchain ecosystems. The platform has tapped into the Telegram user base, amassing over 25 million players and approximately 1.5 million on-chain gamers. Furthermore, Catizen has attracted more than 500,000 paying users globally, cementing its dominance in TON Foundation’s incentive program, The Open League, which rewards TON users, teams, and traders.

Future Plans for Pluto Studio

Beyond Catizen, Pluto Studio envisions the release of additional mini-games. The developers are also planning a dedicated mini-app center that will integrate Launchpool features, short videos, and e-commerce. These initiatives aim to capitalize on the growing interest in gamification and play-to-airdrop strategies, thereby attracting more users to the ecosystem.
