A few words about Hemi Testnet:
The Hemi testnet is designed to enhance network scalability and efficiency, fostering a more interconnected blockchain ecosystem. It redefines Layer 2 scaling by treating Bitcoin and Ethereum as components of a broader “supernetwork.”
At the heart of Hemi lies the Hemi Virtual Machine (hVM), which integrates a fully functional Bitcoin node with an Ethereum virtual machine. Combined with the Hemi Bitcoin Kit (hBK), this platform offers developers a familiar yet advanced environment for building decentralized Hemi applications (hApps).
Hemi simplifies asset transfers across its chains through “Tunnels,” enabling seamless and trustless exchanges with other blockchains. Its flexible architecture allows external projects to create Hemi-secured chains while supporting advanced features like asset routing, temporary blockchains, and password protection for enhanced asset management.
