CoinMarketCap, a crypto data aggregator, will soon launch a reality TV show called Killer Whales in partnership with the Web3 entertainment company, Hello Labs.
This show will follow a similar format to the popular investing show Shark Tank, where aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their start-ups to millionaire investors, who may invest in them.
The show features prominent crypto influencers, such as Altcoin Daily and Champ Medici, as well as the Hello Labs team.
The show features a panel of five industry experts, called “whales,” who evaluate crypto projects and offer investment and mentorship to navigate the Web3 business world.
Applications for the global search for crypto and NFT projects are currently being accepted until May 2, 2023, and the show begins filming in June.
The announcement of the show has caused a significant increase in the price of Hello Labs’ token, with HELLO gaining more than 12% over the past 24 hours and with a market capitalization of $34 million, it is currently the world’s 496th largest token.
Killer Whales has been dubbed the Shark Tank of the crypto world, and Altcoin Daily’s Aaron Arnold expressed excitement about the opportunity to provide education and perspective to help people better understand the crypto markets, as they do on their YouTube show.
Alongside the TV show’s release later this year, an exclusive Show Producer NFT collection will be launched.
