Antigua and Barbuda sells citizenship for Bitcoin Cash


The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) of the Caribbean state of Antigua and Barbuda allows investors of various trust funds of the country to obtain citizenship. According to CoinGeek, investments are made in the Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency and other digital assets.

The program was created in partnership with the parliament of the country Antigua and Barbuda, the founder of CoinGeek and the official representative of BCH in the Caribbean state.

Antigua and Barbuda are tropical islands with excellent beaches. In addition, the citizenship of this country allows for visa-free entry into the territory of 132 states, including Britain, China, and the Schengen countries.

Earlier, the Prime Minister announced the minimum amount necessary to obtain citizenship under the law on the investment program of Antigua and Barbuda – 100 thousand dollars, and also decided to accept payments in the cryptocurrency. In his opinion, this will make the procedure for obtaining citizenship easier and will attract people from all over the world. He said that he personally knows several crypto investors who are ready to acquire citizenship for the cryptocurrency.
