The Chinese manufacturer of ASIC-miners Bitmain announced the release of a new device Antminer S9j. Miner is more powerful than the previous model but cheaper in price.
The previous bitcoin-miner model from Bitmain was Antminer S9i. It provided a 14 TH / s hash rate at an energy consumption of 1265 watts/hour, and was sold at a price of $ 654.
The new machine is slightly more powerful: Antminer S9j provides a hash rate of 14.5 TH / s. At the same time, it consumes slightly more electricity – 1350 Wh / h. But the price of the miner is noticeably lower – $ 535. For $ 625 you can buy a miner already included with the power supply. The weight of the device is 5.5 kg, and together with the unit – 8 kg.
According to the manufacturer’s website, the delivery of a new device is possible from August 11 to August 20 this year. You can pay for the purchase in bitcoins, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and US dollars.
