Satoshi Nakamoto is a woman – congresswoman Carolyn Maloney said at the Women on the Block conference in Brooklyn.
Maloney did not provide any proof. It is said that such statements are simply an attempt to attract women to the crypto industry. From January 2012 to January 2018, Quartz conducted a very serious study. It was attended by 400 venture and blockchain companies from around the world. The study showed that only 8% of women work in the blockchain sector. In the tech industry, the percentage of women is larger, but still small – 17.7%.
